Adrian von Bernstorff
Managing Director
Adrian von Bernstorff is a lawyer from Germany. He comes from a farming background in northern Germany. Before he came to Bhutan, Adrian worked at Becker Büttner Held Lawyers in Berlin in the field of infrastructure and renewable Energies. Out of appreciation for Bhutan and the country’s unique culture and development philosophy, he decided to join the Happy Green Cooperative and specialize in food business. Together with his wife Irja he lives and works in Bhutan since October 2013.
Thinley Namgay
Operations Manager
Thinley Namgay is managing the processes in our factory and is in charge of raw-material supply. He manages the operational team, develops product schedules and ensures adequate record taking.He is holding a Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications from the Royal Thimphu College.
Tashi Penjor
Senior Technician, Mechanical
Tashi is a Mechanical Technician and a senior worker in our Happy Chips factory. He has completed a two years course in Mechanical Engineering in Technical Training Institute, Khuruthang. Before joining Happy Chips, he worked in Wangchuk Steel Fabrication for a year.
Leki Wangchuk
Senior Technician, Electrical
Leki is a Electrician and also a senior worker in our Happy Chips factory. He has completed a two years course in Electrical Engineering in Technical Training Institute, Khuruthang, Punakha.
Rinzin Sherpa
Electrical Technician
Rinzin is an Electrical Technician graduated from Technical Training Institute, Khuruthang, Punakha. He worked in ESD, Paro under Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd and also worked as F&B Service provider under Druk Hotel, Thimphu.
Karma Yonten
Mechanical Technician
Karma is an Mechanical Technician graduated from Technical Training Institute Khuruthang, Punakha. He worked in Punatsangchhu Hydropower Project Authority for 2 years before joining Happy Chips.
Yeshey Tshultirm
Assistant Quality Control
Yeshey is an Assistant Quality Control in Happy Chips and also a member of Youth Social Coop in Bhutan. Yeshey was working in 101 Centennial Radio as a part-time RJ before joining Happy Chips.
Sonam Choden
Assistant Quality Control
Sonam has completed a two years course in Electrical Engineering in Technical Training Institute, Khuruthang with Merit Certificate. She also plays a role of Assistant Quality Control.

Junior Worker
Purna is a High School graduate from Peljorling Higher Secondary School.
Jigme Yuden
Junior Worker
Jigme is a High School graduate and she worked as Non-Formal Education Instructor and an Early Childhood Care and Development Teacher in Wangdue. She also worked as an Office Assistant in Nordenma Construction
